Full time lead practitioner cairn Service
12 hrs per week Permanent
This post requires a confident friendly individual who has excellent communication skills and
the ability to work in open plan environment.
Prepare and serve meals / light snacks/ coffee / teas etc and clean/organise the kitchen area. Menu plan and order stock
Mon, Wed, Fri 5.45pm to 9.45pm (12hrs per week).
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Food Hygiene Level 1 and a willingness to achieve level 2. Ability to prepare and cook main meals and snacks.
Tasks and Accountabilities:
To provide catering for the coffee bar as specified during open sessions.
To be responsible for safe stock maintenance – rotation and replacement.
To make prepare and serve hot meals and snacks.
To ensure that the kitchen areas and equipment are left clean and tidy after each session as detailed in the cleaning schedule.
Comply with food safety standards at all times.
Ensure relevant paperwork/records are maintained.
Strong Customer services skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethic.
A high standard of personal hygiene.
Rigorous attention to cleaning and food prep/storage as required
Working knowledge of CookSAFE or willingness to learn.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Be able to relate to people of all ages and young people in particular.
A good command of the English language both verbal and written
Hold a food hygiene certificate and he knowledgeable of putting this into practice
Excellent time keeper.
Reliable & trustworthy.
The ability to work to a high standard independently with the minimum of supervision
Good organisational skills.
