Community Rail Partnership
6VT Youth Cafe are the first ever Youth Community Rail Partnership(CRP) in the United Kingdom!
Scotland’s Transport Minister at the time, Humza Yousaf, approved the 6VT Youth CRP in June 2018.
This partnership between 6VT and Scotrail supported by Transport Scotland takes a unique and dynamic approach to connecting young people from a number of locations from the Lothians and the Borders along their designated CRP rail line.
The Youth CRP run a variety of community activities and events throughout the year which promote safe use of the railway, supports inclusion and connects communities.
